Section 30704 Summary (Refer directly to the code to verify)
(b)(1) Requires a written description of operating procedures that describes the program of organized and supervised activities of the camp. MHBC provides this information for: Paintball and Swimming Pool. If you intend to program any of your own activities, you are required to provide this information by completing the Organized Activity Worksheet (c) Requires a criminal history record check and voluntary disclosure statement to be completed for the director (Group Leader), counselors, and staff.
Section 30750 Summary (Refer directly to the code to verify)
(a) Requires ALL individuals entering MHBC to furnish a Health History Form (c) Requires an adult health supervisor charged with health supervision. (d) Health screening must be conducted under the supervision of your health supervisor for ALL individuals entering MHBC. The Supervisor must screen your staff before the arrival of the rest of your group. (f) A medical logbook must be maintained by your Health Supervisor. (g) Requires the health supervisor to report food borne illnesses. (h) Requires the health supervisor to dispensed medications. (i) Requires a written health care plan developed and maintained the health supervisor.
Section 30751 Summary (Refer directly to the code to verify)
(a) The Director (Group Leader) must be 25 years of age and have 2 years of supervisory experience in camp activities. (b) Requires at least one counselor who is a high school graduate or who is at least 18 years of age, for each 10 campers under 16 years of age. (Ratio 10:1) (c) Requires the health supervisor to verify that all staff have been trained in the principles of first aid and CPR.
Health Supervisor Requirement:
A person who is either a physician, registered nurse, licensed vocational nurse who is licensed pursuant to Division 2 of the Business and Professions Code, or:
A person who is trained in accordance with section 1596.866 of the Health and Safety Code: The training shall include the following components: (A) Pediatric first aid. (B) Pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). (C) A preventative health practices course or courses that include instruction in the recognition, management, and prevention of infectious diseases, including immunizations, and prevention of childhood injuries.
