POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Organizing 3 weeks of summer camp including: Theme, verse, volunteers, cabin leaders, music, speaker, weekly program director and nurse.
- Work with Summer Missionaries and Interns year round training in leadership, helping raise financial support, preparing them to serve for the summer at Mt Hope.
- Working with local youth group’s weekly – delivering message, encouraging, connecting youth with camp, developing skills to work in Christian camping.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Love for youth
- Love for camping with camp experience
- Heart for ministry
- At least 21 years of age
COMPENSATION
- Missionary supported position
- Staff housing with compensation.
- Candidate must be able to raise support.
ABOUT MT HOPE
MHBC is located in Forbestown, California in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. MHBC has a long 52 year history in the community of Christian camping.
The camp is situated on 80 beautifully wooded acres at an elevation of 2900 feet.
